Chad Hartson is former World Champion ice sculptor who owns and operates Ice Creations in Napoleon, Ohio, the largest ice facility in the entire state. Chad has won a multitude of local and regional ice sculpting competitions. Not only is he champion at ice sculpting, he is also a highly skilled pumpkin carver, food carver and sand sculptor who has carved at a variety of special events throughout the year.
Danny Kissel of Newville, Pennsylvania is a self-taught artist who developed his own unique style across various mediums, including pumpkin carving, chainsaw wood sculpture, ice carving, sand sculpture, graphite portraits and professional airbrushing. Kissel appeared on Season 4 of “Halloween Wars” on the Food Network. His work has also appeared in a variety of publications.
Jeff Petercsak is an award-winning ice sculptor from Westerville, Ohio.
He was fortune to train underneath one of the 5 National Ice Carving
Association Certified Master Ice Carvers Mr. Greg Butauski. He partnered
with his teacher to accomplish a 2nd Place finish at the World Ice Art
Championships in Fairbanks, AK earning a spot on the 2010 Winter
Olympics USA Ice Sculpting team. Jeff worked extensively on the National
Ice Carving Association Board of Directors serving as Executive Director
for several years.
Jim Morgan of Pittsburgh has been in the Food Industry for 35 years. The last 20 years he has been an Executive Chef and work for Parkhurst Dining at Robert Morris University. He a Master Pumpkin Sculptor and Food Artist. He won 1st place and title of Mr. October in his first carving competition. He won 1st place in People’s Choice Category at Jack Hanna’s Pumpkin Carving championship in 2013. Won 1st in carving for Popular Pittsburgh in 2013.
Jon Michaels is an artist from Cincinnati, Ohio who works as a professional ice sculptor for Artic Diamond Ice Sculptures, one of the nation’s top ice sculpting companies. In the fall months he loves carving pumpkins for a change of pace, though he can also be found carving soap, sand and wood sculptures.
Ryan A. Roth Ryan is an award winning artist in various mediums. From Ice, pumpkins, sand, clay, wood, and stone with an art background from painting to sculpture. You can usually find Ryan running around the Rustbelt states doing various demonstrations and custom pieces. Whether it;s sculpting or fronting the Americana Band. Ryan A Roth and the sideshow, Ryan brings an energy and style that’s all his own.
Stephan Koch has been an ice sculptor for fifteen years. Just five years ago, he began experimenting with other media, including sand, wood, Styrofoam and pumpkins. Stephan has placed second in the Jack Hannah Pumpkin Carving Championships, but hopes to one day beat Dean as the first place winner. Stephan lives with his lovely wife Karen at their five-acre homestead in Indiana with their dogs, cat, chickens, rabbits and many other non-domesticated members of the animal kingdom.
Richard Alford is a former Instructor at The University of Akron and member of The NICA Ice Carving Hall of Fame. He has coached 5 teams to a U.S. National Collegiate Ice Carving Championships. Certified Lead Judge,Certified Executive Chef and Culinary educator. He is an accomplished fruit and vegetable carver and winner of many regional competitions for ice and fruit carving.
